That game, even though i don't really buyed it again (my wallet's in pain recently), it's one of those game that makes you go "i'm alone, it's dark, the world is against me and i am against everyone that moves, may it be alive or not, may it be strong or not, i only have my spells and two mana potions, i'm on my own, shall hell rise itself i don't care i'm going in". That's how i played the game and oh oh boy, if can'tt put my words correctly into this only comment, wow, just wow, you feel alone and almost helpless as a mage in close combat, but boy with your electric spells and your fireballs and other spells like that you're just, bwoaw, you feel like batman against every villain of all of the universes and it's 1 against the world as you don't know it, you're scared but your character isn't, at each level you just can't go and throw your body in combat, may it be skelleton archers or mages or other things you're just alone in a gothic and METAL GORE APOCALIPTIC athmosphere. You're not helpless as long as you have your equipement, gold, potions, mana, or something that will kill your foes in a brutal way, killing something in close combat with a mage is so satisfying, let me rephrase that : killing in ANY way is satisfying, i swear, i never felt before that how manly a game could be except with DOOM, and i'm sorry to say it but even doom never gave me this sensations. Wow, just wow, i mean seriously, wow.
