I was delighted to see just how much love and care was put into this version of the classic Resident Evil. The visuals have been beautiful remastered. Cut content such as the original extended opening have been spliced back in. Gore has been turned way up to make every shot even more satisfying. Over all, I really enjoyed my experience with this port and this will now be my go to way of experiencing the original Resident Evil from now on. If you are a fan of Resident Evil, new or old, or just a fan of survival horror games, do yourself a favour and get this remastered gem. Thank you GOG for giving us masterclass remaster of a masterclass game.
