So congratulations, you made a reskin of Dawn of War II: Retribution. Or Company of Heroes, but really with the mechs it feels way more DoW. So yes, I credit you for that. However, there was a lot missed out on. To catch anyone up who is reading this, I'll summarize: DoW and CoH were games which introduced a great cover system, individual unit command, powerful armor such as tanks and mechs, heroic units, and base building all into an RTS game that may not have been cut out for competitive multiplayer, but was still rich and fulfilling. Especially singleplayer. This game used the same format, and gave us a new setting. I was very excited. The game falls short, however, in the execution. As others have mentioned there was no heavy armor, so everything is vulnerable to everything else. There's also no heavy cover. This means all cover is destructible and relatively useless. Many fights devolved into melee scuffles or just soldiers standing in the open and firing bolt action rifles very ineffective at each other. Overall, at the moment, I would say not worth the price point. Go buy DoWII or CoH for less and get a more polished game. However, with the recipe for success so very obviously out there I have hope that this game will be able to follow it.
