1st this is a good and engaging game with hours of play and replay ability. I couldn't count the number of times I started and restarted (I know I could have respect'd) the game until I got a character I liked. Having said that I'm not really a fan of the 5E rules set. I like the rule set used in the BG1&2 and NWN 1&2 games. However you can do a lot of customization in BG3 and the story really does evolved with previous choices made. It really is a wok game, male/female/nonbinary, you can romance any companion regardless of gender or species. Once you get past that and just play if it a fun and engaging game. I just wish they left some of today's realty out of the fantasy game.
