The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition

100% buy worthy! Ignore the old reviews.

I bought the Spacer's Choice Edition here from GOG when the game was at patch level v1.6411.19706.0 (August 2024) - All I can say is that the game runs exceptionally well on my ancient Lenovo P520 workstation with upgraded RAM and 6800 XT @ 1440p resolution. Coming from trying to play the original version whilst on Games Pass using an Xbox One Series X and being severely disappointed at the 10-25 fps, this experience on PC with my moderate hardware is light years ahead. I've had absolutely zero issues. No crashes, no glitches and no stutters running from a WD SATA III storage HDD. As for the game, it's what everyone expects from an Obsidian title of this genre to be, and then some. There is absolutely no reason to buy the standard version as the Spacer's Choice bundles in the extra DLC, gives you the enhanced graphics and notably the significantly increased level cap which helps replay-ability.
