I grew up playing the Soul Reaver games and was always drawn in by the fantastic voice acting as well as the philosophical flare and excellent story. As I grew older I got hold of the rest of the games and now I've landed with the original, beside the fundamental problem with hitboxes I'd say this is a stellar titel. The atmosphere and gothic artstyle is very charming and the dungeon crawls with puzzels combined with the zelda-style world progression is right up my alley. It brings me great joy to revisit one of my absolute favourite game series after all these years; I truly believe it is a solid classic.
