It's just so damn good. Probably been playing this game since I was 9 years old, and I have no intention of stopping now. A great game to begin with, but with the added benefit of some incredible mods, this game is a true gem. While the graphics are a bit dated, it's something you never really notice as the gameplay itself is still so damn rock solid. Everything here just works, so damn well. That's basically it I have nothing else constructive to add, if you haven't bought this game already you are seriously missing out. Buy it. Buy it now. Buy it for your friends. Buy it for your family. Buy it for your children. Buy it for your children's children.
This game is just... wow. So freakin incredible. I'm 21 hours in and I haven't even left the very first starting area. [Very Very Minor Spoilers Ahead] In the very first area you are tasked with escaping from a prison fort, and I tasked myself with finding as many of the methods of escape that I could, and so far I've counted 8 methods of escaping this first area. [Minor Spoilers END] Wow. Just wow. Exactly what I would want from a CRPG. The amount of choice in this game is incredible, and all of those choices actually matter! Wanna murder someone in broad daylight? Go for it. Wanna kill a possible companion or story character? Go for it. Wanna be an undead shapeshifting wing-growing back-stabbing necromancer? GO FOR IT!! The options are endless, the combat is strategic and incredibly rewarding, and all aspects of the story (main quests and side quests included) are undeniably enjoyable. Oh and the music is great too. Without a doubt one of my favorite games in years, and one I highly recommend to all fans of this genre. Most games these days don't have nearly this much quality content all in one package, and this one is only $45! What a steal! The devs of this game truly put so much care into making what all video games should be; smooth, polished, (and don't forget optimized) fun. Oh and did I mention it has Split-Screen and Online Co-Op? So what are ya waiting for!? Buy this gem of a game and support the wonderful devs who have brought us this glorious little masterpiece.
