The game page advertises that the game saves are synced, but they aren't.
Recently, in a happily surprising manner, after many years of not having achievement support in GOG Galaxy, this has been fixed! Thank you, CD Projekt RED!!!
For some reason, this very modern AAA game has no achievement support at GOG, but does so in other platforms. The weird is that modern game releases always have the latest features in this platform and are up to par but not this one. Even weirder is that the predecessor/older game "Shadow of Mordor" has it all but not this one.
First game of its kind that I've played. Highly recommend it, specially if at sale.
