The world of the Witcher series has always intrigued me, as I feel like - otherworldly monsters and magic notwithstanding - it offered the most realistic view of medieval life and war. TW3 is an amazing finale to the Geralt storyline, with a dark and gritty story that still offers enough levity that you don't feel like it's emotionally oppressive, for lack of a better term. You also don't need to have played the previous games in order to understand the story in this one, so don't be intimidated by the "3" in the title. This game is 100% worth your time and money and will remain one of my favourite games for a very, very long time indeed.
