I really enjoyed playing through this game it was my first experience with the Deus Ex series. I feel like the reason this game looked so good when it came out was the graphics were pretty consistent. They weren't the highest resolution graphics in the world but everything fit because everything from trash on the streets to main character NPCs looked good. The story is great and it's just a really fun playthrough. If you are hyped for Cyberpunk 2077 these games might help fill the hole in your heart lol.

Full of puzzles, fun exploration, & referances to games, shows, & Movies. Also this game isn't for kids not that its awful but I'd say teen+. I didn't really look into this game much before buying it. Gotta say it was a blast to playthrough its a lot like portal puzzle wise and its fun to explore. If you like stuff like Portal 1 & 2 this game gets a lot more complex than that but its really good. Where the game falls off tho is combat. The enemies in the game dont even really fit in to the world at all. They are skeletons and demons while everyone else is toys. Would have been more fitting to have some type of toy monsters. The game is decently paced and the puzzles are hard and sometimes you have to think outside the box to figure them out. I did cheat a little closer to the end of the game there were some puzzles I just didn't get. But the world is a lot of fun to explore. (There is a second game in the works which they said combat will be overhauled)

I really enjoyed this game, I wasn't expecting it to have a dark fantasy side to it. Trying to avoid any spoilers here so that's all I'll say. The game's voice acting is great, the graphics are AAA quality, and the gameplay is decent. A Plague Tale took me 11:22 hours to beat. The game is very story-driven and you spend your time avoiding enemies & swarms of rats, using them to your advantage, and doing Tomb Raider style puzzles. There is an upgrade/lite crafting system for different types of throwable or objects you can sling at enemies. The story was enjoyable to play through and did somethings I didn't expect. 10/10 Worth a buy.

Gameplay wise this is pretty solid for the about 30 minutes of gameplay there currently is. The games combat as others have said reminds me of DMC and Doom the Darksouls comparison not so much because that would lead you believe the game is super hard or you die in like 3 hits. This is not the case, you seem to regen health in fights just gotta dodge around. Combat is very in your face and fast like Doom and DMC its quite a bit of fun but it is easy to dash off edges and die. The main character design is kind of awful. Like, its anime style so what ever but everyone else in the bit we get to play is armored up in cool armor and gear and your character is wearing this outfit that makes no sense really. Its like.. trying to show off her boobs but not commiting? lol. Would rather her have some cool body armor like the other characters your come across. Or at least have that be an outfit option. This doesn't make the game not enjoyable, just my biggest complaint lol. Over all a really fun taste of the game but is the shortest "in development" or E.A. game I've ever played BUT it's also priced very low. Looking forward to the rest of the game. Hopefully they give some better outfit options lol.

Its better put together than most of the in development games I've purchased in the past. It has bugs as you would expect and its crashed on me in the couple hours I've played. Some of the voice acting is missing or sometimes just doesnt play. Alot of the negitave reviews seem to have valid complaints about the game. It would be nice to see better animations and sounds or just more sounds for doing things like takedowns. (when I did them there was no sound at all) It would also be nice to have an option to not have the missions be timed. This is a pretty solid foundation for a game and I'm really interested to see where it goes. The plus side is hopefully the developers will see the negitive or mixed reviews and make some changed to reflect how people feel.

This game was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed Diablo 2 growing up and this was a really enjoyable Hack N Slash game. But the biggest issue for myself and most people I'd imagine is the lack of multiplayer. But if you like Diablo-style Hack N slash games and don't mind or even prefer playing solo this is a great game.

Great game it's not perfect but if you like exploring, finding fun creatures, spaceships, building, space, dog fights, playing with friends. This game is great, one of my favorites. The devs failed hard at launch but have really turned things around and made this, in my opinion, a great game! The only major issue I have is multiplayer on the GOG version of this game is not compatible with Steam. So you can't play together with Steam friends. But the game itself is amazing. I highly recommend this and look forward to any future updates.
