I feel like I’ve been duped of my $10. The game is a twist on the Pokémon Snap formula, but with furry humanoid characters. After 2 years of development so far, I expected more than what feels like a cobbled-together mess. The NPCs in the game glide unnaturally across fields at bizarre walking speeds. Both genders are essentially recolorings of the same character model. The animations for 'interactions' are unaligned. NPCs blankly stare straight ahead, showing no eye movement or engagement, making it clear they cannot interact with you in a meaningful way. Your game progress resets upon loading. Not that it unlockes anything. Despite its initial promise, the game disappoints on multiple fronts, from its lackluster gameplay to its shoddy technical execution.
