Far Cry is such a beautiful game...it's long - very, very long - which is fine by me, as it means more awesome scenery to look at and interact with, and more enemies to sneak up on, blow up, fly over, etc. I couldn't play this game when it first came out, because the graphics were too intensive, but now - it's a keeper. More of a pure shooter than something like Crysis, but still a great experience. GET IT! And then try Far Cry 2 for something completely different, but even more beautiful...
Great game - so stylish. The visuals are smooth, atmospheric, and go to prove that things don't have to be 3D and CPU-hungry to be immersive. The first time I played this game, it gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside, like I'd just found something special. It still does. The puzzles are tricky, and can be a little frustrating, but stick with it - if you use the cheats for some of them, like I did, the whole experience passes far too quickly...
