The game is OK, if you like city builders with realistic challenges, micromanagement and all, it's really good. It does scratch that complex tycoon itch very well. What I dislike are AI generated images, such as portraits of the various advisors/ministers. I'm aware it's not something that outright ruins the game as it has next to no impact on the gameplay itself, but it just feels cheap and jarring to me. I really liked the game but my enjoyment just evaporated the moment I noticed this. Even if it's just a minor gripe for most people, it's not minor for me, hence the lower score. That being said, it's a good city building/management game, if you don't care about AI then I would easily recommend it.
It's a decent game, however, most of the difficulty comes from clunky camera movement and the not-so-great parrying system. There are a lot of narrow places in the game where you fight multiple enemies and having the camera somewhere between the enemies' buttocks doesn't help. The parry system is good on paper, you have to flick the mouse (I don't have a controller so the review is based on K&M gameplay) in the right direction just before you get hit but half the time it just doesn't register even if you time it right. I guess with an exorbitant amount of practice you could get it to work maybe 3 out of 4 times tops, but there just isn't enough game to warrant that kind of dedication and it still wouldn't be that useful or fun to do. If you can get it at a decent discount it's probably worth it if you like soulslikes.
