While game is upgraded in visual it also made certain stages feel baron, The gameplay didn't feel elevating and has the problems like quality of life option being locked behind new game plus like the option for hold button to rapid fire (default you have to mash for normal fire) or your dragon hiding enemy projectile and it happens often in the way the game is presented which lead to very awkward situation trying figure out what I've been hit by or trying to shoot down enemy projectile while my pov being blocked by the dragons BuM. While the game is super easy just having those issue is very apparent and FAST. It's a very short game but as a remake it's done nothing to prompt me to invest more time into it so I won't put more time and leave with a very hollow experience.
It's fast pace stylish Hack and slash game with a surprising amount moves which flows really well into each other. Both characters are are fun to play with each their own unique fighting style and system. The Story is not that complex, but my the Dialogue and voice acting is really good along with some really fun banter between characters. Their charming and made the whole experience such a fun ride. The game also has some bangers to go with all the sweet destruction. The Visual presentation over all is pretty stylish and unique, though their human 3d renders are pretty jank looking but with the over all presentation I don't really pay attention too much too it. Overall a very Enjoyable experience!
All the little things like gun heating, jamming, manual clip ejection and action reload is a really good tool to help you build a rhythm, routine and makes sure your providing your full attention at all time in a game where their never a dull moment in the heat of battle. The mechanics help you prepare mentally and make sure your at your A game the entire way. ...or just eject Full clip out of panic and die. what a fun game.
