DREDGE

Good but superficial

Good game, chock full of all the slow improvements that you'd find in a roguelike. Problem is that is really just that, you travel catch fish and aberrations dredge materials to improve and while you do it figure out the gimmick of that part of the map and it's over in less than an hour. All the while there is some good writing but just the beginning of it, it never goes and the ending has a cool twist but still falls flat. ALSO IMPORTANT, the DLC are waaaaay better if got before even starting the game, getting them after reaching endgame is kinda awful BECAUSE (and this is just my opinion/theory) the DLC are 99% cut content. Pale Reach is just a new very gimmicky zone, the rig expands all zones and give you the last ship upgrade that was clearly missing (just by looking at the vanilla upgrade tree) and the blackstone key is the definition of "DLC on disk", it's a building on the "plot island" locked giving it mistery but it turns out it's just a DLC, no key to find in the world (one of the Plot item is litteraly a key smh). Only Solace is that I got the game free with Twitch so buying the dlc was like buying the game discounted which kinda makes it worth (15 euro, 25 for the base is too much), that makes the game and dlc all overpriced though.
