I bought this game on a whim after playing through the Witcher trilogy and needing more Witcher content. It has been a really good time so far now that I am in Act 2. The story is written really well just like the mainline Witcher games. I thought the gameplay might be a turn-off as I did not really enjoy Gwent in Witcher 3 as much as most people it appears. However, it turned out to be surprisingly engaging. I especially enjoyed the puzzles that had to solved in a specific way that challenged me to think out of the box unlike just mindlessly trying to get the highest score. It feels like a good companion game to play following the Witcher 3 to relax and enjoy more of the world. I know CDPR has said that there are no plans to make more of this type of games but I would be interested in playing them if they ever make something like this again.
