Prince of Persia: Warrior Within

Fun game, but not a great port.

Game is fun, but unfortunatly the port is pretty poor and obviously hadsn't aged well. The game plays best with a controller, but the mapping for the controls is really weird and the default controls are really bad (blocking by default is the start button on an Xbox controller for example). The game itself hits that mid 2000 "edgy" coolness that games were going for back then and it's so cringe inducing to look back on, but I love it. A lot of people didn't like the game on release because of that, so if you like a more light hearted fantasy setting for games you might not like this. Honestly if you can, I'd probably recommend getting it on console if you can to avoid the control weirdness.

Dead Space™

Brilliant game, flawed port.

Great game, but the port is a bit wierd. Enabling V-sync in the game seems to cap the frame rate at 30. Turning off the V-sync makes the framerate sky rocket while also causing lighting glitches and other physics based issues as it's not meant to run at the framerate is jumps up to. Would recommend turning off V-sync in game and then forcing it through your card driver while capping the frame rate at 60 at the same time.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

A Brilliant RPG Adventure.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a wonderful action RPG that is absolutely stuffed with content to discover and explore. The story is well paced with a cast of great characters, and the world is immense and beautiful. If you have the money for the GOTY edition, then I'd highly recommend it. The expansion packs really add a lot to the game, and it would be a shame to miss out if you've bought the game without them. The PC version of this game runs very smooth, although if you're not using a 4GB card or more you may want to turn down shadows, textures and hair effects to achieve a smooth 60 FPS. I would also recommend playing the game on Blood and Broken Bones difficulty to get the best experience out of the game.
