This is one of the game I find myself going back and playing every once in awhile. A fun create your horror house game, with resource management aspects. Truly one of the oddest games, I've brought. In that I prefer playing the non-updated version I backed up when purchasing the game. Less features and items, but a better game loop with less buggy game play and still fun. I noticed this recently when I attempted to install the game via the Gog Launcher, instead of from my external hdd. That game had been updated at some point, and the previous version was no longer available in the games download versions. Making me grateful I have the back up copy I like playing. Sadly I ran many bugs with the Electrocution Update//version 2.6, it is still 'playable' even while buggy. But I did uninstall and install backed up version from my hdd which is version 1.01 to casually play again.

I am currently playing on a offline - disconnected from the internet computer. I'm loving it, finally another decent modern single player game that does not require a internet connection with a third party EULA attached to a proprietary DRM launcher to install. Little known fact: I will never engage with the epic or steam stores due to the forced requirements placing a middle man (Steam/Epic EULA & launcher) between me and a game I purchased. Thank you for not requiring Cyberpunk be downloaded and installed only through Gog Galaxy with a internet connection, as I am enjoying my offline gameplay. Still running 1.03, though the 1.04 patch is downloaded on a independent computer. Its apparent the extra time in production was needed, & the situation of 2020 didn't helped either. So for your benefit I will list a few pros and cons I've hit. Pros : Controls - did take some getting used to on the keyboard. Could easily switch between the keyboard and controller, when ever necessary or wanted. Exploration - is GREAT! 20 hours in & I still haven't completed the first main quest at the All Food. Aesthetics - The attention to detail is crazy, randomized and changing placement of advertisements, feels lived in. Lore - Sheesh, this goes into extreme depths. I dunno if I'll be able to read, let alone find, all the shards laying around. Makes want to know if there is a "Info Bomb" Quickhack. Cons : Pre-install was crazy, took 2 days as my internet connect kept dropping & corrupting the download. I was hoping for some Cyberpunk Blu-ray disc install action, or maybe a Themed USB Shard. Texture bug - after playing for a while, 6-8hrs, the textures sometimes go weird. Evelyn with a full red face. Bugs and glitches : - Calling someone only to have them appear next to you too. That's some holographic phone tech! Obviously it is not meant to happen, but it adds a bit of fun. - NPC's appearing out of nowhere or just cowering for no reason. - Some odd object collisions.
