No Pixel hunting at all this time around trying to find those pesky click detection boxes for items. Also movement was far easier and superior to the original with access to move between areas using the map. Just slightly let down by the age of the graphics at times and whilst the map shows where actions need to be undertaken the map area may actually contain a couple of locations making it tedious to determine where an item needs to be undertaken before determining what it is that needs to be undertaken.
This is a good HOG with a good story which continues on for a trilogy. Being an older game it is unfortunately let down by movement around the map. Whilst there is a map showing what actions are available where, it becomes overly cumbersome to move from one end of the map to the other continually. There is no fast transport through the ingame map as is more prevalent with modern games. The only other issue I encountered was the occasional difficulty clicking HOG items as the click detection boxes appear to be either out of sync or very fussy. This was only a minor issue with maybe two or three items and easily ignored. Also being an older game there are no achievments in this first game of the trilogy. Again not a deal breaker, but would have been nice - especially for the completionists.
Warning to others could not get either game to run under Windows 7 64bit. Spent half a day and tried various solutions including compatibility and security settings with no luck. Spent a further hour trying to work out how to apply for refund and decided the $1.99 was not worth the hassle. Have deleted both games after seeing only the intro many many times then goes to black screen. Tried to give it 0 stars but that is not possible.
