Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition

Great for people new to BG

With its out of the box widescreen and UI, it works GREAT, i personally haven't had any bugs and i have well over 100 hours in the game. The out of the box ui can be scaled and works better than the mod, and the game has been a lot more stable than my modded versions of the original on windows 7 for me. if you're new to BG this should be the version to pick up, unless you plan on modding the heck out of the old version like a lot of veteran players will do. you still can mod this version, but some mods arn't comparable with this version as of now. i think the fixed resolution and ui make it a lot easier to get into for new players, as I've seen that happen with my friends.

Planescape: Torment

If only i had played it sooner.

When PS:T came out, i was 4 years old. i had never even heard of the game until i saw the kickstarter for tides of Numenera. With that being said, I am 19 now, and oh. my. god. i wish i had been old enough to play this game when it was released... it is simply the best story driven game i have ever come across. I could only wish all my friends my age had the patience to read, and play though what this game has to offer. it is a MASTERPIECE. this is easily in my top 10 games of all time. The only reason i saw top 10 and not number one, is because its not a game for everyone, and not everyone will get it, but for those who do.. man you're in for a treat. To sum it up, its as if you were playing a book. And perhaps the greatest book you have ever read.

Wasteland 2 Director's Cut Digital Classic Edition

Not the best, but far from bad.

Wasteland 2 is no fallout 2, but its still a very good game. The writing is well done, compared to a lot of games, but not as top notch as others, and effectively pulls me in to the game far more than the visuals. the visuals aren't bad, but they lack polish, which is something wasteland could use a lot more of. everything is good, or even great at times, but it just lacks polish. my biggest, and only real complaint is the camera angle... When you pull the camera back, it goes to a almost completely top down view, as compared to the zoomed in camera, which is at more of an angle. its not bad, but sometimes when I'm looking around my squad, i want to focus on whats more in front of them than whats behind them, and it honestly drives me pretty nuts. but keep in mind that is totally subjective per player. its a game i will replay at least a few times to see how things can play out, especially with a team with different skills (There are not enough skill points to go around, even with 4 squad members.) I think the game is money well spent, but maybe not for nit picky people. but it ever goes on sale, its a must!
