Save yourself the trouble and play Exile II: Ruined World , if you can. If not, the first Avernum III remake. This one is awful. The UI and combat is clunky. Skills are too few to have any character uniqueness. Everything is so streamlined that it's lost all of it's charm. No. The original game was one of the first games I ever played. It is incredibly meaningul to me. The first remake was a decent upgrade. This is a travesty.
While this DLC might have some attraction for those who enjoy the yard work, for me, I felt like they took some of the more annoying mechanics of the base game and built the whole expansion out of it. The plants are rather nice looking and it does add some much needed outside work to the houses, but I just found it far more tedious than I could endure.
