First, there is nothing amazing about this game. Nothing redeems it from the few minor and major issues it has. The main problem is the game misleading you into thinking you can solve a puzzle that you absolutely cannot solve. It does this in two ways: 1. Your companion will always tell you that your current status is enough to conquer anything. Even if you're facing a puzzle that requires the next tool you don't have, he will tell you you've got everything to solve this puzzle. 2. You can come at puzzles from the wrong side, but there is nothing telling you that. Basically this puzzle is solvable from the other side, the reward being a way for you to pass through that area. Only the design doesn't prevent you from somehow getting to the destination side first, leaving you in a place to think you have a puzzle to solve that actually isn't even there. The dialog is not very cute or funny as I was led to believe (it IS extremely sparse), combat is a nuisance not a challenge, travel is repetitive and sometimes you get stuck, there is no story... The only reason it gets 2 stars is because some of the puzzles are mildly interesting.
