1. AGI = Agility is the biggest part of this DLC In the beginning you're basically untouchable, you react/move faster, which means your character will for the most part dodge virtually everything. I came to realize just how important my AGI was when I realized hit my 30th hour and started fighting more & higher level enemies. Now i'm fighting Martyrs that are actually making me strategize more than prior & the stupid high Agility helps so much from having to waste SP on reviving characters who die only to watch them die again. So the weapons may be "Weaker" than those in the Travelers Set & is really, really helping me in higher level dungeons where the difference in not losing everyone in party is making it to the next turn. (everyone has like 699+ Agility) 2. Rings 2.1: Toxic Ring - Resists Poison / / boosts HP by 1400+ at the cost of physical attack 2.2: Anti-seal Ring - A ring that ensures the wearer cannot have their skills sealed / / boosts Magic Defense by 140+ 2.3: Nimble Ring - Resistance to "Slow" effect given by enemy Martyrs / / More Agility boost 140+ 2.4: Zen Ring - Resistance to "Stop" effect given by Martyrs / / Boosts everything by 47(+/-) 2.5: Mind of Steel - Decreases EX Gain after Battle Not exactly sure what Anit-Stun does but the name are very literal & unsure of the benefit to Mind of Steel but the more I play the more I learn. 3. Weapons look pretty cool & matches their whole Bagu/Glitch color scheme, both sets have weapons that match the characters better & still haven't found a weapon stronger than what I have from Rook -in-game so I've been using these as my go-to weapons from the start. In my opinion the Travelers Set & the Warriors Set have their own objectives, and will appeal to different types of players. EXP boosts and initially ATK in the start may be your thing, but I can say one thing I'm far from regretting my purchase especially now that i'm nearing the end,. I would whole recommend this DLC reg or sale$(.99 )price.
STEAM REVIEW: "I was enjoying this game too until my concerns became more and more realized." "Not only does the author not understand basic economics, but they literally began citing karl marx." "This story is about some girls who come from a communist wet-dream utopia and just cannot simply understand why the poors in these other countries don't simply seize the means of production? " "There is a conversation about how people just do things for each other out of the goodness of their hearts, and how money doesn't make sense because the government just takes care of everything. Yeah, no." I personally armed with this knowlege cannot reccomend this game, I'm not going to knowingly support an ideology that wouldn't even allow a game like this to exist. The average person will read this and just buy it anyways, so it's whatever.. But I only made this review to assist those who don't want to put money behind this ideology. I hope it was helpful in your decision-making.
I originally discovered this game because the original DE;RQ1 was promoted by a YouTuber by the name of "RomanainTvee" or just "Vee" who made a video talking about how the developers at Idea Factory for the first game actually releaased a poll asking us the fans/consumers what we wanted in their release of the game to PC. Uncensored or the Censorship model for the PS4. When it came to the PC release it was overwhelmingly in-favor of the uncensored version, open shut case. They for some reason even after knowing that the PC Community prefers uncensored/original works, asked again for DE;RQ 2's pre release. This was the first red flag. Pretty much all a characters even down to their designs are inherently censored. They're either heavily covered up under the guise of being the original designs or returning combat characters from the previous game having their original designs altered for the sake of censorship. Idea Factory cannot be trusted to not censor their games no matter the platform even though they have sufficient data to suggest that players atleast for the PC Version prefer their games to be uncensored or originally interpretation of a(n) developers work. on these grounds alone do not purchase this game or really any release from Idea Factory gonig forward. it's 80% of Slice of life, school-life Yuri VN w/a "mystery" element, none of your favorite characters comeback in any meaningful way, Arata & Shina aren't together and never link up in the story. Reality Warping + Time Traveling elements make you question what's happening in the story, it's honestly all over the place if you take this story standalone with no context to the OG, and even with that context you'll be lost.. Overall I'm not going to focus on Combat because this isn't Lost Ark, the Story comes first and the story alone is a reason to not grab this game. The Censorship makes this game dead in the water for me. I'll recc DE;RQ1, but this sequel; is terrible sequel & is incoherent.
Initially I gave it a positive review. I did notice some concerning dialogue at times, but on the whole I enjoyed the game. The reason I came back and changed it to negative is because my concerns were fully realized in the second game. It literally starts citing karl marx and talking about communist paradise utopias. I cannot recommend a game that is pure propaganda. It's unfortunate because it's otherwise quite interesting and well-made. Too bad. - Princess Tiffany
