Game holds up very well for begin soon 20 years old. The islands are smaller then I remembered and the lack of a fast forward button it indeed felt. The scenarios are well written if not a bit short. The fact that 1404 and a dlc exists makes it more tolerable. In short if you are looking for the essentail Anno experience and also maybe played this as a child or teen, it is still pretty good game.
