Fun to do as single player, great replay value when playing with friends. In terms of story and relations between the player and compaions I still think its somewhat overshadowed by its inspiration: Bioware games, such as Dragon Age, Neverwinter Nights and Mass Effect. Then again, nobody understood relationships and world building as well as the Bioware of old. I love this game though. It's such a clear love letter to the inspiring aspects of the Bioware games (flawed as they might be), to D&D in general and to RPG's, to stories, to diversity and to choice. I love the game, love the studio and its devs, and I love the fact that its so popular. I deeply appreciate the celebration of diversity and gender choice, and players choice in general. Thank you, and I'm very much looking forward to what this studio is going to do next.

As someone who has wasted too much time of their life on the original Pharaoh, I was curious to see the new one. I love it. It looks fresh, clean and beautiful and I LOVE what they did with the music. You can feel the respect and love the devs have for the original, and I applaud them for staying true to the original while also trying a few new things (but not too much). The music of Pharaoh was always amazing and definitely one of the reasons I could get lost in the game. For this edition, I really like what they did with the music. The tunes are the same, but made richer with the real instruments. And the walkers even have the same voices. Love that. UI takes a while to get used to if you are used to the old Pharaoh. After playing a while, I actually like the new building UI. Not yet sure about the overseers. Overall a great remake and I'm gonna spend a LOT more time building these pyramids and mastabas.
