The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind GOTY Edition

Play it, but mod it

Morrowind is a fabulous game only bogged down by its age. If you play this game you'll need to use MGXE or my recommendation OpenMW. Both of these ensure better compatibility with modern computers and less bugs. About the game itself, it uses a dice roll system for attacts which can be annoying but does allow you to see how leveling skills makes you better. You'll need to have a build in mind before making your character though the game isn't very strict on this so it's not that big of a deal. If you can get into the game past these things you'll find a rich open world the likes of which are rare as it truly does feel rather alien while also kind of grounded.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

It's Skyrim what more can I say?

Much like the title says, this is skyrim one of the biggest rpgs from last decade. You've heard of the game and how it's fantastic and guess what it still holds up but becomes even better with some mods. Speaking of which, verify the mods you wanna download since a few aren't compatible with gog's latest version.
