Diggles: The Myth of Fenris

Slow Time Strategy

Oh my... This is the slowest game I played .... in 30 years. Click a "diggle". Make them do something. Wait for about an age and a half and then maybe it's done. Now make them do the next step, and then feel free to take another 10 minute coffee break, because nothing will happen in that time. I think in 2001 when this was first released I was already too old for the "comedy" in this, granted I wasn't 7 anymore. I'm sure at some point there'll be enough going on that maybe you don't notice anymore how much of nothing is going on. But a halfway decent game, not even nescesarily a great one, would not make you wait so painfully for it. I may only have 40 years left in my life, waiting for this game to pick up the pace feels like it will cost a significant part of that.

So SO many bugs

It starts out as a mid-level amount of fun. It's not a greatly riviting game, and it gets a little repetitive, but there's loads of people grinding boars in WoW for who knows why, so there's a market there I suppose. What is absolutely horrific is that you can get bugs that force you to lose game time, or as has now happened to me twice: The only save slot you have gets set *JUST* under the clip-path of the floor, and you spawn in a void and fall to your death. Your recourse? Click continue to load the save point, and you fall again right away. So you start over and after this happens a second time at another save point, after having actively avoided the forst one, with 3h 45min of play time you say "This sucks, NEVER AGAIN, Byeeeee"
