+Nostalgia factor. +Good ideas with civilization advancement and different country options. +Ability to focus armies on land, sea, or air. -The graphics and variety of voice lines are terrible. -The controls and pathing for troops are slow and janky. -Three fairly forgettable campaigns. -Little to no multiplayer/online viability. -Little desire to replay once finished. Overall: DMW is the little cousin that tries to be multiple games at once: An era game like Total War, and RTS like StarCraft/WarCraft. Unfortunately it falls far short in both categories. It's nice to come back to once in a while for nostalgia or for time-wasting, but there are simply far better options available.
