Poor balance

Read the following knowing that I have EASILY finished all XCOM games (except X2), with ironman mode with a medium ro hard difficulty (yes including OpenXcom). First few hours of this game are the most fun because everything is challenging, balanced and fair. After that you get drowned in things you CANNOT do both in the Geoscape and when facing impossible enemies too early. You get enemies that suffer 5% health damage when 4 guys unload their full rifles in their faces, and the level is full of them (and in some missions they never stop spawning, and the objective tells you "kill all hostiles" like wtf??). I do not know if it is because all of the expansions are enabled or what, but it is overwhelming and physically impossible to do all activities the game proposes or even 1 of them without the rest you are neglecting destroying the world or just slowing your progress down. Like what am I meant to do when the Behemoth comes along? Nothing, because unless you have found the right researches and manufactured the right stuff at the very late stages of the game, that thing jsut destroyes half of the world, how is this good game design? I litterally have NO choices an I have to GUESS what researches will help me with it or with stuff like the spreading of mist, at least in xcom when there is a problem to tackle there is a research that hints at solving that problem, not here in Phoneix Point... nope!
