First off Thronebreaker is not a bad game. It runs smoothly and I have had no issues with bugs or anything of the sort. The gameplay itself is very fun. The issue and why I will no longer be playing the game is because of the "moral" choices throughout the game. I have and anyone playing will be faced with a number of situations where a choice is made. The issue with these situations is that the morally right decision will never benefit you. The other choice will make the game easier, but just make you feel like another villian in the gray area that is war. Note there is sometimes a third option that the game makes me feel should not be there. It is most of the time a middle of the road option or a different take on the situation but every result from these is: "Nothing really happened" which begs the question why is the option there. How dumb of me to go for the third option when we all know there is only two choices in any decision. Again this is just my personal issue with the storytelling. If you like games like Banner Saga you'll like this sort of moral stakes I hazard to guess and grim outlook on war and survival. Again the gameplay is super fun because its Gwent with cool scenarios and new cards. So if you can push through the story or enjoy the story I would recommend trying this game. Hope this helped anyone.
