Let's start by saying I'm not much of git-gud kind of guy... I usually don't like these kind of games. What I do like are metroidvanias... I thoroughly enjoyed Ori & The Blind Forest. And I bought Hollow Knight almost on release. Played it a bit. Got stuck. Hated the git-gud part. Now almost 2 years later. I picked it up again, gave it another shot. Now. 30h in - I love it, can't get enough. What's different this time? I got a decent controller. Got over the git-gud part, because essentially the game scales pretty well and if boss battles are too hard, most of the times you can skip em and come back later when you're better equipped. And in the end, you git-gud... :) Enjoy.
