Agony UNRATED

Agony is Tough

This is not what I was expecting. So far It has been basically a stealth game with some gnarly visuals. The vision of hell the creators had is absolutely fantastic. I think the game suffered from it's marketing and this is absolutely worth checking out. Just don't expect the gameplay to be anything too stellar. Speaking of the gameplay: As much as I enjoy the scenery and item hunting, the stealth is a bit wonky, the game tends to take your torches away seconds before you need them and you have to be face deep in anything for interactions to work. Fathoming a safe distance from a demon for anything stealthy is near impossible and punishment is instant death. The respawn is interesting though. There are checkpoints in the world but you can, after dying, also use possession to grab a new body and continue on. I will keep playing in small portions since the world is interesting and I would love to know more. The small wonks just keep me stepping away from the game quite frequently. It is called Agony though.

Stardew Valley

Coziest of cozy games

I bought this game from a sale just to see what all the fuzz was about and now I've put hundreds of hours into it. It's relaxing, it's cozy, if you want it to be. It can be sressful and hectic, atleast at the end game but again, only if you want to. Piexl art is beautiful, music is soothing and moody and the NPC's are quirky and fun. A rare game in a way that there is no punishment for missing tasks or deadlines and the only source of stress is your own making with chasing targets, achievements, money and such. I strongly recommend this as a relaxation excercise.
