Loretta is basically a visual novel with branching paths. It has point and click interaction, however very few classic puzzles. This shouldn't deter you from playing it, because Loretta's narrative strength makes it a must play. Loretta is essentially a mirror image of a murder mystery - as a murderer, you choose what kind of actions you wish to take and have to face their consequences, both psychological and practical (well, game-world-practical). Once you get involved in Loretta's story it's pretty hard not to see it through at least once, which will take you a few hours. Some of the available endings are pretty hard to get to, but are interesting even if you eventually choose to use a guide to get to those. The game graphics are beautiful, conveying horror and Loretta's internal turmoil quite effectively. All in all, I can't recommend this game enough.
