Shadow Warrior 2013 was great oldschool shooter with nice story. In sequel they changed it into crappy looter shooter with awful plot and even more awful jokes and trashed everything i like in previous game. I sprinted through main quest, because i hate in FPSs to loss time with piles of colorful garbage items, enemies with life bars, boring levels with awful enemies placement and chaotic combat during which nothing can be seen. There is one plus of sequel, when you can see something in chaos of effects and models, you can see how lovely enemies are turning into pieces.

As a small free game Janosik is quite good. It's like a miniature metroidvania with comedy presentation, minimalistic pixelart graphics and nice music. Gameplay is also pleasent with a couple of moves Janosik can use from start or learn like rolls, double jump or bombs. Level design is rather simple, could be better and normal foes aren't much threat but boss fights aren't too great. And i saw some bugs. But overall good game.

When i was kid, i read about games from Myst series in game magazines and i loved what i saw on screenshots. This interesting, fantastic worlds full of strange mechanisms catched my attention. But i never played any Myst. Now i tried first of series and it was pleasent experience. Maybe game isn't as beautiful as later instalments, but despite this it have some interesting places and plot. Still this old prerendered graphics have some charm. And this climate of mystery and loneliness in strange worlds highlighted by sounds. It was great, despite i had to use walkhtrough to complete the game. I like plots and worlds in adventure games, but unfortunately i'm rather bad in solving puzzles. But at last i played Myst game and i'm happy with this. And there are few more games to try.

I never played Daikatana when it originally came out and later i only heard about this creation of John Romero was it legend as one of the worst shooters ever made. But i was curious. If it is really so bad? If legend is true? Answer is: yes. I knew this in moment of starting new game, when i landed in one of ugliest swamp i have ever seen in video games, full of buzzing bugs and jumping frogs as first enemies. Daikatana is ugly even as a 2000 title. It using Quake 2 engine, but i looks worse than Quake. Gameplay is clunky and levels and enemies are often iritating. Involving time travels plot had potenial but in the end is boring, and voice acting and cutscenes are hillarious bad. One of the key features of Daikatana: companion system, is the worst part of game. Buddies of main hero are totally idiots who go straight into danger, shots you in back, blocking everywhere and when they die is game over. I had to save/reload very often. Lucky for me there was an option to disable limited save crystals feature so i was iritated less times. But i can't say that Daikatana is the worst shooter. There was some moments when i had fun. Four periods of time is four various enviroments, enemies and weapon sets. And some of weapons was really satisfying to use. And some leves was satisfying to complete. There are worse shooters out there, but they didn't have do impact to games as media. And thats why i gave Daikatana two stars instead one. I don't recommend Daikatana as pleasent game. It legend is really true. But sometimes you have to see on your own eyes what it means when big game is bad game.

Doom is mile stone in case of FPS genre and PC gaming. Without Doom game industry was probably looking very different. Doom is more than twenty five years old now but for me it beat's many of more modern shooters in case of entertainment. Characteristic graphics, level design, demons, guns and fun of shooting are superb. Anyone should play original Doom. It's tons of fun. And there is huge number of various source ports and great mods for this game. Because all of this Doom is immortal.
