While I never played original DOOM games until 2016's entry, this game is what got me hooked to not only the series, but first-person shooters as a whole. This game truly broke the boundaries of what FPSes could offer rather than what was the norm at the time. I originally bought this game during its initial release when I had a PS4, which I believe is what made me become an avid fan of the many classic and new FPS games to come. Special thanks to GOG for letting me keep this game for as long as I live. If you're a fan of first-person shooters, or are wanting to get into the genre, please try this game!
