I really enjoyed the story and the puzzles. I only ran into one quark. The inventory menu covers up the X mark for digging up a box. It can make it hard to activate it since both the inventoy open covers the entire bottom screen and the mark is located near bottom covered by the inventory ribbon. Best to try and align the camera where the X is between the inventory item tiles.
A classic from 1998. It needs to be experianced atleast once. The replay value is low. The Art work is amazing. The voice acting is very good. Movement can be a bit quarky at times leading to fustration where you have narrow paths to navigate. The Story is very interesting. Advancing through this crazyness the way you are feed the story is like pieces of a puzzle. A lot of clues are given by interatcting with npcs. Talking is a huge part. They reveal clues and solutions to most of your problems. Sometimes you just got to explore and interact to figure out some stuff on your own without any help. Game doesn't hold your hand. Though I do admit some points I had to look online for hint. Games worth the price. If you can snag it on sale all the better.
It was amazing! It reminded me of Dear Esther which I enjoyed also. Love this type of story telling.
Love the game. Ran into issues on Windows 11. If you overwrite a save or click the quit game buttone the game freezes. You have to force quit the game from taskmanager if you able to get to it and relaunch the program. Due to accendently hitting the quit game since its so close to options best to use f2 to access save menu and save after key points.
Grabbed it in a bundle. Right now at Chapter 7. extremely fun game so far. Puzzles are enjoyable and the dialog between characters is awesome. Only one small change I would do to the UI. Put a duplicate to mouse sensitivity under Controllers also. Just out of habbit I always go to controllers first and didnt think of looking under camera control.
