Ghostrunner

Good game, nasty crashes

It's a good game, a very good one. I would recommend it no matter what, if I could finish it. Unfortunately, in the next to the last chapter it started crashing all the time. It's also the middle of the level, which means that to try my luck once more I have to go through most of the level again and again... Shame, because the game itself is gorgeous

BloodRayne (Legacy)

And this is fun?

I wanted to play Bloodrayne for a very long time. I heard about this game since 2002, the year of its release. Back then, I was just a child and I didn't have a chance to pick the games I wanted. But I heard about it a lot from my friends, I read about it from magazines, I saw trailers on TV... Strangely, it was one of a few games that I always knew a lot about but never played. Finally, 14 years later I launched it and prepared to witness something revolutionary. And... Well... There was a HUUUUGE disappointment. I know that this game is 14 years old, but come on... I finished original Tomb Raider 4 times, I played Heavy Metal F.A.K.K. back when there was no Bloodrayne whatsoever, and now I understand that this game is nothing else than just a piece of crap. Maybe before, about ten years ago, it seemed ok, but it's still doubtful considering the amount of good games we had in early 2000's. The controls are ok for the XBox port, but the game itself is mediocre at best. The plot is almost non-existent, the enemies are dumb, the combat system consists of just one key, the levels are completely straightforward and boring, the objectives are... Well, the objectives are the worst. Even with stupid nazi plot a lot could be saved if you had anything else to do than "eliminate officers". The bosses are way too easy, except for the part when you enter some kind of nazi tank. This part was the worst. It reminded me of Dark Souls' Dragon Slayer Ornstein & Executioner Smough. It's the same kind of challenge. Oh, did I forget to mention that no matter where you save (and you can save "anytime") after you die you need to start from the beginning of the level? Well, try to beat this piece of game on highest difficulty without cheating. There is nothing to see. It's the biggest disappointment of my life, because I wanted to play Bloodrayne for 14 f*****g years. Better finish Warrior Within once again. There are way less boobs, but it doesn't matter since the game is good.

Secret Agent

Way worse than Duke Nukem

When I bought that game I expected something similar to first Duke Nukem game, according to some reviews and screenshots. Unfortunately, Secret Agent is way worse than Duke Nukem trilogy, even though it was released later. First of all, I hated the level design of this game. These levels are way smaller and way less trickier than those of Duke Nukem. There are some good ones and bad ones, but most of them are completely mediocre and there is really nothing to see. To top it off, there are places where it's almost impossible not to get hit by something and some backgrounds make you think that level designers wholeheartedly wanted to make you blind. Secondly, I really hated jumping in this game. More often than not, you'd have to jump over water which instantly kills you if you touch it, and there is so little space for jumping that it may seem impossible at first. Although it's not, sometimes I'd hit a little bit of something deadly and would have to start the whole stage from the beginning. At last, the controls are somewhat clunky in comparison to Duke Nukem games. They are not bad by itself, but in addition to little jumping space it's really annoying. I enjoyed this game, but it's not the one I would play again. It's a shame that Duke Nukem trilogy cannot be bought anymore - it's way better in almost every way.

We Happy Few inDev

Still pre-alpha

I played this game more than year ago, when it was first released to public. The game was in pre-alpha state then. And now, from what I can see, nothing changed. Except that devs can present this game once again, still trying to get more money from it. No, thanks. Another DayZ or Forest is not for me.
