Yes, graphics and, especially, animations look quite simple and poor, but there is so many interesting gameplay mechanics in this game! You can craft items, open doors and crates with lockpicking, you can hack enemy turrets and they start shooting your enemies, there is a stealth with takedowns, there is character leveling up with skills to pick, weapon upgrades and more. There is even dialogues with various characters and there is a set of choices with consequences (actually, one level is named "Consequences"). And there Fallout-style ending where world state is described in set of pictures which changes based on your decisions made in game. Overall, this is not linear shooter, but more like action-RPG with multiple endings. And last, but not least - atmosphere. It is great! If you liked Future War parts from two first films - this is a game you will like. It is clearly based on first two films and there is nothing from third and later films which I especially like. Story is quite interesting and got some interesting choices for player to make. There is even a few attempts to make a plot twist at some points. Sound effects and music is a surprisingly good too. Great game for a Terminator fan!
