One time I bought Terraria on Steam, I previously had it on my Ps3, but you know, the PC version is always better than console version IMO, I was a big noob there. I played for about 300 hours, and I can say that It's one of the most fantastic games I ever played. But a month ago, I decided to purchase Terraria here on Gog because it's DMR free, basically, you must have Steam opened while playing, and that overheat my computer a bit, and, for everyone is wondering, I recommend you to purchase the game, it's 1000 times better and you can even play offline. Returning to the game, the first time you see it can looks like Minecraft, but it's a thing a lot different, there are a lot of weapons (bows, swords, guns, bombs...), blocks and biomes, enemies and Bosses! But there are 2 biomes that involves the game, the corruption and the crimson. They're basically the opposite of the normal forest biome, like a thing that infects the world, by the way, you can banish it, and keep the world pure, but when you defeat a certain boss, those corruption biomes start to spread, and that's an hard thing if you never played the game, I tried to explain it without spoilers :D. And if you build houses, you can invite NPCs to stay there, and they are fundamental for finish the game, you start with the guide NPC, that give you tips and says to you crafting recipes. I hope being helpful, and if you buy the game, good luck!
