The game needs some pretty big quality of life improvements, and I struggled to get it to launch without it crashing at first. But the actual gameplay is engaging (and enraging - in a good way). It's not very similar to the original Frostpunk either, but I enjoy it for its political mechanics, which takes a relatively shallow part of the first game and turns it into a whole facet of gameplay. After some much-needed patches, this game can probably be a worthy sequel to Frostpunk.
