I remember playing HOMM5 when I was around 7 or 8, about a year or so after its release. I enjoyed playing it, but as a young kid I valued action over substance. I prefered fast-faced FPS games over anything strategic. Which is why I never finished the game and stopped about 1/4 of the way through. I'm 26 now and I'm so glad I decided to give this game another chance. I can finally appreciate it in all of its glory.
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. To think that we went from THIS to Veilguard is bewildering to me. I can't wrap my head around how many things had to go wrong for us to end up with something like DA:V.
