I remember watching the trailer in early-2000s and noting it down in a spreadsheet where i was listing all games i want to play. Years after i lost hope and wrote it off, i accidentally came upon this demo, so of course, i played it! It's what you'd expect. It looks and plays like a 20 year old game. In the demo you can play as 2 different characters, a strong one and a fast one. The controls feel outdated. You can't turn the camera, you can't jump or dash, but there's fast/slow attacks, bombs, rage mode, you can pick up weapons from the ground and it looks like you can unlock new executions and combos, so the combat is pretty fun and satisfying It needs more polishing because the voice overs and audio in the cutscenes feel off, the subtitles are also completely out of sync and it ruins the immersion. I don't expect to be blown away by it, but i'm glad it's back and it looks like some old school fun can be had!
