I think it's a solid game with real role playing. Your decisions actually make a big difference in the story. It's a third-person game where you can go in guns blazing, go in stealthy, or go no guns and just use martial arts. In short, it's a quest-based spy/war thriller. Seeing this on GOG is great! I bought an actual disc copy of the game to play it a couple of years ago. Back then, too, SEGA actually officially released it own CD hack for the game because they couldn't sell it anymore after the music license expired, lol. I recommend this game, just know it's not perfect. The immersion in the world is where it shines and I had been looking for a modern-day theme western RPG for a long time.
