One of the best ways to experience Croc for newcomers and people who loved the original. I'm very happy with the improvements of the controls and flows way better compared to the og game. The visuals of the remaster gives a updated look but still keeps the original artstyle intact. Also, you have the option to switch from the updated visuals to the retro look on the fly which is greatly appreciated. The amount of bonus content is something I wasn't expecting from seeing developer interviews, promos, design documents, to beta builds and a full pitch bible for a cancelled Croc tv show. Honestly I wished more video game franchises can get remasters like this with the amount of bonus content and modernized features that doesn't take away the original experience. There's so much love and attention from the developers, I recommend this game if your a fan of the series or is new to the franchise.
Rayman 2 and 3 absolutely needs to be part of the gog preservation program. These games are so much fun and more people need to play it. I'm glad that gog gives people the opterutinty to at least play this game but added controller support in the base game with definitely help out with experiencing this game.
