Played Gone Home a while ago, found I really enjoy the genre of "open all the cabinets and find out what happened." Was really looking forward to this and it delivered - possibly one of my favorite games I've ever played. At least top 5. This game was released in 2017 and as I played it in early 2025... a lot of the future easter eggs are really hitting too close to home, sadly - the writers were spot-on in their predictions. Really interesting story, beautiful imagery. Kinda wish they'd make a VR version.
A charming point and click diversion, dated but lovely to look at and easy to play. Loved learning about Welsh folklore and language! "Horror" is a strong tag for this game; I would say spooky but not scary, good for folks who don't tend to like "horror" games like myself. May need a walkthru to finish, as clues become more abstract towards the end; fortunately, the publisher has one on their page without spoilers.
Beautiful graphics, a bit too artsy in its... "plot" I guess we'll call it? Don't jump into this looking for story is all I'm saying. But a few puzzles and lovely to look at, worth the time and money. Will defintiely check out some of their other games too.
