I've spent 50 hours with Sheltered 2, and despite some minor frustrations, I'm deeply invested in the outcomes of my survivors. This apocalyptic survival game shares a similar DNA with titles like "This War of Mine", but with its own unique twists. The JRPG-style combat is a highlight, even if it gets a bit repetitive at times. While the entirely mouse-driven combat and tedious inventory management can be annoying, the engaging gameplay makes up for it. I also wish there was more depth to the faction diplomacy, but it's a minor quibble. My biggest gripe is the micro-management of characters, which can feel overwhelming at times - having to remind them to use the toilet, even on autopilot, is a bit much! However, the clumsy UI is a small price to pay for the emotional connection I've formed with my survivors. If you're a fan of survival games with a strong narrative focus, Sheltered 2 is definitely worth checking out.
