Cyberpunk 2077

Underwhelming

Cyberpunk felt like an half cooked game that still has a lot of potential. It was released too early and now only time will tell how much it's going to be improved. I'm a little skeptical tbh because we're not just talking about bug fixing (and oh my there's a lot to fix in this regard) but features and quality of life improvements as well and it's a lot of work. They need to add ways to customize your character and vehicles in-game, minigames or something that one could really get into like Gwent was in Witcher 3. A proper wanted system, because right now you're not supposed to mess with the police. You can't even hack them, they just spawn on you and kill you. We'll see, right now i can only recommend the game to high end pc users that know exactly what they're getting into. If you can't ignore bugs and glitches this game is not for you right now. One thing i really appreciated is the level design, i had so much fun doing side jobs and gigs around Night City. In this respect i think what they did is nothing short of amazing. Also the main characters are super detailed and interacting with them felt pretty good in general. Imo the game needed more of these moments and a longer main quest too (and maybe less gigs). The life paths have been over-hyped, essentially they work like in Mass Effect, they give you some different dialogue options and that's it basically. Also the endings i got all end up with the same outcome, i felt all i did wasn't worth it, all the choices i made didn't make any difference. Many things were cut and that may be the reason why it's less of a rpg compared to Witcher 3 (and more of a looter shooter). Things that are good could've been great if the development wasn't rushed. CDPR set the bar really high with Witcher 3 so i didn't expect Cyberpunk to be as good, but this was underwhelming regardless.

Baldur's Gate 3

Not worth it right now (14/10/20)

The game's in a pre-alpha state at the moment, a lot of things are missing and very few of them are working correctly. In my opinion it's way too unstable, buggy and unfinished even for an early access release. Unless you're a mega fan, or you want to pay full price to be a Larian QA tester basically, i can't recommend this game to you right now. I had several ctd, framerate drops, stuttering issues and many gamebreaking bugs, overall not a good experience. We were supposed to give our feedback but with so many technical issues and missing content, right now even that makes no sense. I'm a huge fan of the series and i trust Larian, i'm positive this will be a good game in the future but it was released too early. So wait for now, save your money you're not missing out on anything. I'll update this in the future.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

Great in coop, mediocre in singleplayer

Great for coop and meta gaming, mediocre as a singleplayer rpg The combat is a lot of fun, it's great that every race is so peculiar and your civil abilities really make a difference in how you proceed in you adventure. But what this game is really lacking to be considered a great singleplayer rpg is the lore, which is completely not existing. You'll find yourself costantly asking question, who is that? why is that? And you'll never have an answer. If you go on wiki you can find the lore of the divinity series which has barely anything in common with original sin; so in the end it's only going to confuse you even more. The world doesn't feel alive, the maps looks like a playground for you to explore and have fights in, the characters are not bad per se but the interaction with them is severely lacking, you'll not care that much about them in the end. The loot is almost completely random and you can't craft good weapons or armora and this was one of the most disappointing things in the game for me. I love unique items and in this game they are too few and becomes useless anyway after a while. I found the music to be rather forgettable and repetitive. To end this if you are looking for a game with a good atmosphere, lore, characters and story this isn't the game for you. If you are looking for a really fun coop game with addicting combat this definitely the game for you. Fyi I have played way more than the hours you can see on my profile, i've finished the game around 135 hours of playtime
