I have the same problem with fallout 3. Infinite loop. Do not buy. I thought the gog version would be better than the steam version but it is exactly the same.
I bought Fallout 3 on steam and it didn't work. So I refunded the game. I bought it on gog because it works right out of the box. NO, it doesn't. I know this is a great game but it is unplayable. When you start the game it will greet you with the following message:'This app might not work correctly' and the loop won't stop. I looked in forums about this problem but there was no solution to this problem.
