I love the game so far. Coming from someone who has played New Love Plus, seeing this game receive an English release on PC and DRM-free is a blessing. But it is not without its problems. The translation is... well, could be better. The tutorial menus are lacklustre, with the described buttons needing to be pressed baked in as controller inputs, and ones that don't even necessarily match your controller if you have one plugged in. Not to mention, if you play with K&M, they don't match at all. Lines played by the girls in the day-to-day menu aren't transcribed, so they are lost to you if you don't know Japanese. K&M controls in photo sessions are quite the learning curve at the beginning, but you get used to it quickly. Moving past these faults, however, the game itself is great, the girls are cute and lovely, the art is amazing, the writing is fun and dynamic, and the gameplay loop is quite fun imo If you came expecting a carbon copy of NLP, it isn't that, but it is great and oozes with what you loved about NLP
