Cyberpunk 2077

Ambitious but empty

Review done after 67 hours of gameplay (NO Spoilers) Playing on a laptop with low-mid settings 45 fps Graphics - Very good (even on low-mid settings) Bugs? - bearable... but unacceptable Keybindings and controlls - just stupid (like nobody tested it on PC for sure) you can't even change some of them them ingame, have to go to config file Main Story - Actually really good (but short in my opinion) Side stories - Really good but not enough of them (game has potential for LOT more side quests) for real, the game has like idk... ten side stories Content (weapons, cars, clothes) - Decently enough (but again, game has potential for LOT more) Game difficulty - once you commit to specific build the game becomes super easy Driving - Vehicles handle like shit, very unrealistic and "slippery" (I got used to it though) Character Creation - Decent, but could use more options but beware, you can't change your character later, not even hairstyle (like wtf) My main problem with this game is that we've been promised enormous revolutionary game, yet we got .... well... this. The game feels empty, I thought there will be enough story and/or content to keep me going for at least 500 hours. Now I'm just disapointed. I'll keep playing for a bit longer, but ... I'm about to give up on this game. The game was over-hyped, it's just full of empty promises. There is one thing that can save this game (but it's not gonna happen) and that is - they have to release a modding software similar to CreationKit for Skyrim or Fallout4. Modders could save this game, but if all we get is something like modding for Witcher 3, then the game just dies.
